This is an experimentation where I combined image transfers (created using hand sanitizer) with the sewing machine. During the pandemic, after the birth of my second child, I began photographing myself at the end of most days. I love my daughters, but having two young children, hanging onto you constantly day in and day out, left me feeling all touched out. I wanted to use a medium that begged you to touch it, stitches, in order to explore these feelings that I have been contemplating during my journey through motherhood.
